A Visionary Legal Partnership
Millbrook Hills Law Partners is a dynamic and forward-thinking law firm founded in Ba, Fiji in January 2017 by Managing Partner Jamie Bancod. What began as a small but determined practice has grown into one of Fiji’s most respected firms, with offices in Ba and Lautoka and a team of highly skilled legal professionals.

Today, the firm operates through three specialist divisions — Conveyancing & Estate, General Litigation & Commercial, and Criminal & Employment — each led by a partner with deep expertise in their field.
History & Growth
From a single office in Ba to a multi-division firm serving clients across Fiji.
The Founding
Jamie Bancod established the firm in January 2017 in Ba Town, initially under the name Bancod-Chandra Lawyers. The practice launched with a single support staff and a clear mission: to deliver high-quality, efficient legal services to the people of Fiji.
Later that year, Vikrant Chandra joined as partner, bringing expertise in general litigation and commercial law and strengthening the firm’s capacity to serve a broader client base.
Rebranding & Expansion
By the end of 2018, the firm had experienced substantial growth in both its client base and its team. To reflect this evolution, the practice rebranded as Millbrook Hills Law Partners — a name that signifies ambition, stability, and a commitment to excellence. Within two years of founding, the firm had assembled a team of highly skilled professionals united by a shared pursuit of client excellence.
Lautoka Branch Opens
In 2022, Millbrook Hills Law Partners expanded its reach by opening a second office in Lautoka, strengthening the firm’s footprint in Fiji’s second-largest city and enabling the firm to better serve clients on the western side of Viti Levu.
A New Partner & Three Divisions
In 2023, the firm welcomed Mark J. Anthony as partner, bringing over 10 years of experience in criminal and employment law. With this addition, Millbrook Hills Law Partners made the strategic decision to departmentalise into three specialised divisions:
- Conveyancing & Estate — led by Managing Partner Jamie Bancod
- General Litigation & Commercial — led by Senior Partner Vikrant Chandra
- Criminal & Employment — led by Partner Mark J. Anthony
